The rush to beat the deadline of the summer transfer window is still on and every club is trying everything they can to make sure that they meet their transfer objectives before the last day of the window. Clubs across the top and every other league in Europe and beyond are still trying to keep up with the dynamics of the window to ensure that they are not missing anything or leaving any stone un turned and it looks like that's how it's going to be for the last few days of the summer transfer market. One of the stories currently trending is the possible confirmation of the transfer of Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma to West Ham United.

The Blues are keen to offload the France international defender so they can make way for the arrival of his fellow France national teammate Jules Kounde but it has not been easy as there have been several complications involved in the deal. It's no longer news that Chelsea are highly interested in signing Sevilla defender Kounde as the Blues manager Thomas Tuchel sees him as a potential candidate to bolster his defensive ranks at the club and there are a lot of reasons for Chelsea fans to be excited about the possibility of having to watch Kounde as their player starting from this current season.

Chelsea have been told that Kounde will not come cheap and that they would have to pay a huge sum of money to convince the Spanish La Liga club to sell one of their most important players and there have been several talks but negotiations have not gone very smoothly between the two clubs.
On Friday morning, it was reported by SkySports that Zouma was having a medical with the Hammers and the report that followed was that he had completed the medical ahead of a potential £30 million move but it is yet to be made official.
