Chelsea are expected to make a move for striker Radamel Falcao in the summer after he has been consistently linked with the West London outfit over the last few years. Jose Mourinho, perhaps, made the interest public after admitting that a player like Radamel Falcao needs to play at a big team.

He has condemned the decision by the player to move to Monaco by saying that this is a decision he should have taken only at the end of his career. Falcao is believed to be one of the highest-paid players in the world after completing his £ 50 million move to Monaco.

There is some good news for the fans of the England national football team. They might be able to see one of their key players Theo Walcott playing in the upcoming FIFA World Cup.

A Scot doctor Gordon Mackay has said that he can help the Arsenal striker get back to full fitness in just about 15 weeks or so. That means Walcott would be able to represent the Three Lions in the World Cup which will start in the second week of June.

Chelsea secured a convincing victory over the Romanian club Steaua Bucuresti yesterday and moved up in the Group E points table. The Blues are now at no. 3 with 3 points.

It was José Mourinho who brought Ashley Cole to Stamford Bridge back in 2006. The former Arsenal defender has established himself as one of the best in the world. He has managed to win all major trophies with Chelsea, but he reckons that he has more to offer for the club in the coming season.

Cole played under Mourinho for only one full season before the departure of the Portuguese manager in September 2007. Now that he is back for his second spell at the club, Cole wants to show his best form to the 50-year-old.

The new Chelsea manager Rafa Benitez has said that he feels that the Chelsea fans will understand that he is just a professional who was trying to protect his team when he was at Liverpool. The former Liverpool manager recently took over an interim job till the end of the season at Chelsea.

He replaces the manager Roberto di Matteo, who won the Champions League title only a few months ago. Due to the numerous comments he made about Chelsea and its fans when he was a Liverpool manager, the Chelsea fans have been extremely vocal in expressing their displeasure to this appointment.
