Manchester United not made an offer for striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is a free agent after a few weeks, according to the player’s agent.

Ibrahimovic recently revealed that he will leave Paris St Germain once his contract comes to an end in June. He will be looking for a new club after his four-year spell with the French club comes to an end. During this period, Ibrahimovic has done his reputation no harm after transforming PSG into one of the biggest clubs in the world. Solely relying upon the presence of Swedish superstar, PSG were able to bring in a lot of world-class names.

At 34 years of age, he is approaching the twilight of his career. After having won league titles in Netherlands, Spain, Italy, and France, it seems that the striker is targeting the league title in English football. There are few who can come close to the titles won by Ibrahimovic over his stellar career, but it seems that the 34-year-old is not taking any chances. Recent reports emerged stating that Ibrahimovic was being targeted by a couple of Premier League clubs especially Manchester United. It has been rumoured that United have made a one-year offer with the option of a second-year to the striker.

Ibrahimovic's agent Mino Raiola has now dismissed those rumours. "In this world we have to accept some journalists use their imagination and make things up. The story is not factual," said Raiola. Meanwhile, Sky Sports pundit and former Liverpool manager Graeme Souness believes that United certainly need a player like Ibrahimovic in their ranks just to spice things. He feels that the squad has become stale without too many world class names on offer unlike before. United are set to miss out on the top spot for the second time in three seasons.
